Hi guys, first time poster, long time Utada fan (since 2001). Miami Utada fans might know me as the "Harley Davidson guy" from the Utada South Beach meet.

I was digging through a slew of my old Freestyle CDs and I found a few tracks from a singer named Corina (a singer that had several minor club hits in the early 90's). Having not listened to them for at least fifteen years, I gave two of the tracks a once-over, "Temptation" and "Whispers."

Then, something hit me...Corina and Utada sound very very similar!

What do you guys think?

what if they were to sound alike...then what would we do??

I never heard of Corina or her voice, link pls where can i hear her song ? Can't comment XD

Okay, hmmm Corina voice softer than Hikki maybe if Hikki sang her Japan song there is a bit similarity, but Utada voice when sing english song change to a bit deep. My opinion btw thanks for the links

I don't hear any resemblance.. Corina reminds me more of a wannabe Janet Jackson or Paula Abdul...
