In my school, all un-smart nerds are considered dorks, especially the anime nerds. Fortunately, I hang around the smarties (and.. I guess you can consider me a smartie (get it, amai, sweet, smarties? lol)).
I commend you for being a "dork" and showing what you love instead of just fading in with the wallflowers. I would, personally, rather be a dork than a wallflower.
Just give yourself a cool name like, "The Dorkskinator" and people will think it's so dorky that they'll call you that but it's really cool.
LOOK ON THE INSIDE OF YOURSELF AND ASK YOURSELF WHO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE!!
I leave you with this sappy one-liner, take it or leave it.
