Yeah, its amazing how much Hikki's music touches our hearts...it's also helped me get through alot of bad times, when my dog died (and he had been with us for like 11 years, so i was really close to him ), the only song that ran through my head was Final Distance, and then when my granfather died...all i listened to was Ultra Blue (coz only 3 days prior to his death i recieved UB, First Love and Single col vol 1 as gifts from a friend. Passion made me feel a whole lot better throughout those 40day rituals afterwards...

well... hikki has helped me sing really high notes and that helped a lot.

hikki's songs by hikki, also helped.

and hikki being about to speak english also also helped.

and her being american also helped me.

how did it help me? well it helped me be ... a better singer than i thought i was.

and i had no idea how good she was. until i heard myself.

All these stories...
I'm so glad i'm not alone in this.
My friends said they were worried about hearing the same songs over and over coming from my room but it just seems that Hikkis music has the power to touch everyone like this, not just me.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed, I was nervous about starting this thread but it was well worth it.

It's nice to know that her music is helping others, too.

I'm listening to Wait and See right now. I'm having quite a bad time...

It's a horrid thing when a man loses his will to live, and his aspirations for the coming days.

For what it's worth, I wish you the best, Hikkiforever506. Life is far from kind most times. May we all live to see joys in whatever days are gifted to us.

yeah hikki has helped me a lot too...

Last year was a bad kind of year for me. I was molested on the way to Sunday school (yes, ironic isn't it) and also a victim of cyber-bullying.

But despite all that I didnt see a counseller cause its often associated with stuff like mental illnesses here, and we Asians care lots about "face".

But I went to hikki's music whenever I felt down, or was bullied. Sngs like kee tryin and hikari helped me.

Really glad to hear that she helped you aswell! I feel very touched by the fact that you tell us these stuff, which are very personal.
