First of all, Leah Dizon isn't Japanese. She is actually a mix of Chinese, Filipino and French. And she is mega cute. =D She was born and raised in the United States. But she moved to Japan after a talent agency was interested in her. [I think.] She also has a large fanbase in Asia.

Her first single, Softly, was released under Victor Entertainment and it reached #7 on the Oricon Weekly Charts. Her second single, 'Koi Shiyou♪', also reached #7 on the Oricon Weekly Charts. her third single, 'L･O･V･E U', reached #16 on the Oricon Weekly Charts. Then her debut album, 'Destiny Line', was released on September 12, 2007 and reached #9 on the Oricon Weekly Charts.
