Why is the song teiku 5 cut short at the end? It just stops and is abrubt. IS it really how the song ends or do i just have a jacked up version?

Everybody asks this question lol.

The song ends that way because the song is about death and life so the sudden end to the song signifys how death can be so sudden. some get annoyed by it but i personally think its a awsome effect to the song.

^I agree it is a very good effect as an ending. That song is almost like a wake up call because many of us feel so sheltered and safe from danger but in the very real reality, you can die at any time. Lightning can strike your home, you might have a freak heart attack, etc. True we call that paranoia but those things can very well happen. The chance is slim, but there's still a chance.

BTW don't get downed by this post. This song really brings out that reality.

OMG.

Now I feel really stupid. I always thought I have the incomplete version of it. Oh well, I never bothered to search for the translation for this song. Thanks for telling anyway. Now I know why.

@DjPho : I concur.

djpho, your copy is not jacked-up, it really ends that way.

for everybody's info, that kind of ending is not new. if you listen to the Beatles' I Want You(She's so Heavy) from the Abbey Road album, that song ends the same way as if someone cut the tape reel.

I see.
Thanks for sharing the information, I'll check out that song. Maybe she got her ideas from that song too. It's not surprising if she really got her idea from that song since she listens to western music a lot too but then again maybe it wasn't because of that song.
