i think onaji means "same" and jibun, something the lines of "mine"

Erith's right .. "onaji" means "same" while jibun means .. "one's self", "yourself" or either "myself" it depends on how it is used in the sentence.

so you could give me tips on how to say stuff as long as i ask right?

not sure if you can answer this but how would say..
"what're you up to?" and would ka go at the end since its a question...ive heard japanese talk and ask questions without using ka...but i thought that was the thing that determined if something was a question or not...unless the tone of the speakers voice....

yea I've been hearing japanese talks that asks question without "ka" at the end of the sentence .. actually, I don't know and I don't have any idea about this but if I do .. I'll post it here .. I've stopped from having a self-study nihonggo for now because I'm already studying for my college.

and I also guess that it depends on the tune of the speaker if the sentence is a question or not even without "ka" at the end.
